In an age where computers are out of date as soon as they leave the factory, everyone in the media industry is searching for a way to get better performance out of that old equipment. The Quadra 950 T2S combines a computer with a two-stroke lawn mower engine and “outperforms the Macintosh G4!” Very funny video.

Full length iPod movies to be included on Blu-ray discs
According to anonymous film industry insiders Apple has been asking studios to include iPod video content on Blu-ray discs.
Could this be the element that decides the winner of the upcoming Blu-ray / HD-DVD Wars of 2006? Possibly. It'll definetly contribute.

Some Apple retailers selling iMacs with Windows XP preinstalled
Some retailers are now selling Intel-based Macintosh systems with Windows XP and Boot Camp pre-installed. Could this be a big breakthrough for bringing the Mac into the home market?
Probably not yet. Not until they get cheaper. Still a cool development, however.

Apple to release 8GB and 10GB versions of the popular iPod Nano this summer
This summer will see the release of two higher capacity iPod Nanos. Pictures of the new versions are available, although it appears that there have been few if any cosmetic changes.
Apple offers free computer take-back program
US customers who buy a new Mac through the Apple Store (www.apple.com) or Apple’s retail stores will receive free shipping and environmentally friendly disposal of their old computer as part of the Apple Recycling program.
Now there is no reason to not buy a Mac. Well, except for my reason – the fact that they are so darn expensive.
